SERVE THE LORD IN YOUR DIVINE ACCEPTANCE

02. GRACE PLUS CHURCH DAYSSERVE THE LORD IN YOUR DIVINE ACCEPTANCE

Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

There is nothing that you can do to make God to accept you not even the best of your good works can make God accept you neither will your sins make Him reject you. God accepted us because of Jesus and what Jesus did on the cross reconciled all men legally to God. Those who believe are reconciled to God and divinely accepted vitally.

Hebrews 13:5 says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” The word  “never” in the Greek means  “no never”  – it is a double negative which connotes a strong negation. What it implies is that God will never, never leave you nor forsake you His beloved.

In this consciousness of your divine acceptance should you serve God. Approach Him as one who has already accepted you and He is pleased with you. If you are waiting till you are perfect in your actions before you feel qualified to do the things of God, then you will wait till eternity.

None of us in our flesh will ever attain 100% perfection in the flesh – it is an effort in futility. Of course, you can really overcome a lot of limitations and live the God-life to a higher level as you renew your mind on a consistent basis with the word of God. I have realized that the less conscious I am of my sins, the more effective I have become in my walk with God, doing the right things without being conscious of it.

What I want to drive into you is to serve the Lord in your divine acceptance. Serve God knowing that He has accepted you because of Jesus. In this grace consciousness should you stand tall. Serve the Lord because you love Him. Nothing should be done in guilt and condemnation. Whether you serve in the house of God or not, God still loves you. Your service to the Lord should be your response to His love. Hallelujah!

This kind of consciousness will change your prayer life. Instead of going to God and always feeling terrible, being conscious of your weaknesses and limitations, you will rather be bold to pray to a God whose loving arms are always stretched out to you. Serve the Lord in your divine acceptance.
