COMMUNICATING THE ANOINTING THROUGH WORDS
COMMUNICATING THE ANOINTING THROUGH WORDS

Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
I believe Apostle Peter is one of the most anointed men in the early church. One time while he was at Cornelius house preaching, without praying nor even making an altar call, the Holy Ghost fell on the Gentiles who did not even know Jesus.
What happened at Cornelius house was that the power of the Spirit was communicated through words. The words of Peter became the vehicle by which the Spirit rode on to fall on the people.
This same scenario happened while Jesus was teaching one time in the Synagogue. Scripture declares that while He taught (spoke words) the power of the Lord was present to heal (Luke 5:17). We can communicate the power and Spirit through words.
This is why we can command diseases and evil spirits to depart and they move. If you don’t speak, the Spirit does not move – the Spirit is transmitted through your words.
But you see these things do not just happen because you are preaching or teaching some good sermon. Anyone can say anything. What matters is the weight behind those words and this weight and glory is gained in the place of intense and long hours of prayer.
There are no short cuts in the realm of the spirit. If you don’t pray for long hours forget this kind of manifestation of the Spirit. Before you step out to preach next time, spend a considerable amount of time praying and praising the Lord. Then when you step out there, there will be fire on your tongue to produce signs and wonders.
