John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…… and he will shew you things to come.

The Holy Ghost is the advantage of the believer over the people of the world. And one of His blessed ministry to the saints in Christ is that, He shows you things to come – this is called “advance knowledge”. This is the Holy Ghost showing you things about your family, ministry, business or career before they ever happen.

This is foresight knowledge – you know things before they ever happen. This is what King Solomon said about foresight:

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Advance knowledge helps you to prepare ahead of time in order for you not to be caught unawares. Things should not be happening in our lives as believers in Christ without we having prior information.

For instance, before God brought the judgment on the earth in the days of Noah, He gave Noah advance knowledge which helped him to prepare and eventually avoided the destruction that came upon the earth. That knowledge saved him and his family.

For you to receive this kind of knowledge from the Holy Ghost, you will have to stay in constant fellowship with Him in prayers, fasting and meditation on the word.

Also, learn to act on the scriptures that’s already written. If you don’t read God’s letter to you in the Bible, why should He give you further instructions?

One knowledge from God can turn your life around and save you from impending destruction. We are not supposed to run into evil and tragedies. We can have advance knowledge to preserve our lives. Hallelujah!
