BIRTHING DIVINE ENCOUNTERS

Acts 10:1-2 [1]There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
[2]A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
Divine encounters do not just happen. They are birthed. There is an atmosphere where supernatural encounters happen.
We are told that in Nazareth, Jesus couldn’t do many mighty works. Notice the scriptures did not say, He “would not” do many mighty works but He “could not”.
This implies that Jesus tried but the power failed at Nazareth. In Capernaum and other places the power worked. Why did it fail in Nazareth? The Bible says, it was because of their unbelief. Mark 6
The atmosphere of unbelief hindered the power of God.
In our opening scripture, we see a man named Cornelius who had divine encounter with an angel of God and it literally changed his life and that of his household.
Cornelius was a man who fasted, prayed and gave alms consistently. And by these kingdom keys, he attracted God into his space.
You can follow Cornelius example of consistent fasting, prayer and giving and you will see divine manifestations of the Spirit in your life.
You don’t just sit down and do nothing and then encounters begin to happen. Encounters with God are birthed and sustained through deep hunger, consistent fasting and prayers and faith in the word of God. Hallelujah!
