LEARN TO PLAY WITH YOUR MIND

Genesis 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

If you are going to see expansion in your life, you must learn to play with your mind. When I say play with your mind, I do not mean using your mind to play video games or any other game. What I mean is putting on your imaginative mind.

Your ability to imagine is one of your greatest assets on earth. If you will go far in life, you need to use your imaginative power. This is what you use to create your world of living.

To imagine means to think in pictures. It is about seeing things in pictures instead of letters.

The men of Babel imagined to build a city and a tower that will reach the heaven. Remember these were days when technology was not an issue to talk about; because it was not there. They never had bulldozers, machines to mix concrete, etc. They did not have the kind of tech that we have today to build sky scrappers. I hope by now you are seeing what I am driving at?

With all our highly sophisticated technology in building, no one has ever conceived of building a tower whose height will reach the heavens. I am really dumbfounded by the imaginative ability of these men of Babel. This tells you that you should not be limited by your environment and the things that you do not have. Even though they did not have the technology we have today, whatever they had then, they believed and dreamt of building something that modern men have not dreamt about. If these men were alive today, they will beat the whole world. Their imagination is unmatchable.

These men never had the sophisticated technology, yet, they could dream of a city whose tower reaches the heavens. And do you know what? God knew they could achieve what they have imagined.

There is no impossibility with God. If you can dream and believe in your dreams, you will see it come to pass. Take time to observe thinking sessions from time to time. Take a day out of every week and do nothing but think. You will be amazed at the ideas you will generate.

Prayer of Salvation

Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
