GRACE OPPOSITION!

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

When Jesus was on earth, who were His greatest opposition? It will shock you to know that they were not the sinners and tax collectors. Jesus greatest opposition were the religious folks of the day; the religious leaders which comprised of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Who were the people Jesus pronounced curses and woes upon? Again, they were not the tax collectors and sinners. Jesus pronouncement of woes came upon the religious leaders of the Jews. Jesus was always against this religious folks who had a form of God but has denied the power; these were self righteous folks – these were the holier that thou people.

Matthew 23:13‭-‬14 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.‬

All this tells you something: Jesus hate religion – self righteousness is what stinks in the nostrils of God. Self righteous people attitude portrays people who don’t depend on grace because it is self works and occupation. They are occupied with themselves; how good they have been and not how good God is in Christ.

Anyone who has a problem with the grace gospel has a problem with Jesus. That’s how serious it is for the law was given by Moses, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17).

Interestingly, I have seen people who oppose grace but later became preachers of grace. It is just a matter of time; there is a great saturation coming upon the earth. All over the world, there is a grace revolution going on. Get into the flow!

Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
