FAITH IS WHAT MOVES MOUNTAINS

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

From our opening scripture, it is clear that the force to move mountains is faith. It is not tears and crying and begging God. Faith is what gives you the ability to move mountains. This is vital. In most places in scripture where it talks about moving mountains, the element required has always been faith.

1 Corinthians 13:2 ……and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, ……..

Faith is what quenches the violence of fire and stops the mouth of lions . So those folks who are against the subject of faith are in big trouble. If your faith is not in operation, your mountains remain unmoved. A mountain is any hindrance or problem you may be facing which may include sickness, financial hardship, joblessness, barrenness, marital delay etc.

If you desire to see your mountain move to yonder place, it is time to engage the instrumentality of faith. Faith is what is required to move mountains and not prayers and fasting. Don’t be surprised. I believe in prayer and fasting.

But prayer and fasting without faith is useless for without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). For prayer to work, there must be faith in operation. This is one reason so many folks have prayed and fasted and still see no change. Many are fasting and praying, but their faith is not in operation. Prayer without faith is noise making; add faith to your prayer and your mountain will move.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said, ……..If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

The good news is that you have all the faith to move any mountain if you are born again. The source of faith is the word of God. For every mountain you may be facing right now, if you will take a scripture concerning that situation and meditate on it and speak it forth in faith, your mountain will surely move.

Anywhere you see faith in operation in scripture, the end result is the moving of mountains. When the woman with the issue of blood took that step of faith and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she was healed of her plague of 12 years. Put your faith to work and see your mountain move in the name of Jesus Christ.
