FRESHEN YOUR LIFE WITH GENEROSITY

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Generosity is a powerful tool that can keep the believer's life fresh at all times, even in harsh economic conditions. For a river to remain fresh, it has to flow into other water bodies. Its freshness is dependent on its flow. As the river flows consistently, it retains it freshness.
A river that is not flowing with time begins to stink; it loses its freshness in the process of time. This is why stagnant waters stink and becomes the breeding ground for harmful insects.
Our lives are like a river. The more we give, the fresher we become. Our freshness is dependent on our giving. For there to be consistent flow of financial blessings into your life, you have to plant seeds consistently. Consistent giving is the key that guarantees consistent receiving. The promise of returns is only on giving and not receiving.
Giving is not a one time event; it is something that you have to practice consistently, consciously, and intentionally. Your giving is what causes others to give to you. The Bible says, it is men that will give into your bosom and not angels.
Proverbs 11:24-25 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. 25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Stinginess is what makes a man’s life stinks. He may not know it; but sooner or later, his receiving begins to wane, and finally he gets to a place where he doesn’t receive again. If anyone ever gives to him, it is with a lot of grudge and probably insults.
You cannot beat God’s word. In order for you to prosper financially, you must follow and obey financial instructions. For you to be watered, you have to water others. Water speaks of life. The more you give life to others, the more others give you life. If you are not fresh, it might be an indication that nothing is flowing from you to others. Keep giving to remain fresh all the time.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
