THE DEVIL HIMSELF KNOWS HE HAS BEEN DEFEATED

The devil knows things, unfortunately, most believers in Christ do not know. The devil knows emphatically that he has been defeated by Jesus. It is only a lot of believers who don’t know that. Sad! Sad! Do you remember the prophet Balaam? He saw something that Israel did not see about themselves. He said, He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them (Numbers 23:21).

I pray that the Holy Ghost will grant you eyes that can see; that your mind be illuminated by the light of God’s word; that you will begin to develop that dominion mentality that resists every form of slavery and oppression.

One main reason why Jesus came was to destroy satan. And he did it perfectly well. Jesus disarmed principalities and powers; He took all their armory and power from them, leaving them with nothing. You have to know that satan has been defeated and he will forever remain a defeated foe. And there is nothing he can do about it. The devil’s defeat was emphatic.

And when Jesus rose from the dead, He granted all authority in heaven, on earth and beneath the earth to the church, to function and reign on earth. If we allow to satan to oppress us, then it is our fault. If allow demonic oppression in our lives, then it is our fault. If we allow sickness and disease in our bodies, we have no one to blame.

You have to use your authority in Christ to live victoriously in this life. In this life, it is either you are Victor or a victim; there is no neutral ground. Make up your mind not to allow satan and his defeated cohorts to reign in your life. Learn the word of God; that’s the weapon satan dreads. Put that Rhema word in your mouth and dislodge the enemy. Praise God!

Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
