OUR GIVING REVEALS GOD'S GENEROSITY

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
You cannot out give God. And you do not lose by giving to God. God is our source and not man. All that we have today was given to us by God. What most believers don’t see when they give is God’s generosity. What do I mean by our giving reveals God’s generosity?
There is no farmer that planted a crop and reaped the same amount. What you harvest is always greater than what you sow. When we give to God, what we receive in return far outweighs what we gave; and that’s God’s generosity.
So when God ask you to give something out of some kind, don’t see God taking anything from you. God is rather looking for an opportunity to show you His generosity. That’s the way it works. And when you have this understanding, you will not struggle to give.
A lot of believers in Christ sees God taking something from them when they are asked in church to make a release. They see the pastor trying to take something from them. That’s not true. I have sown seeds; and what I received in return far outweighs what I gave. So wen you give to your Pastor or a ministry, who is the gainer? It is you.
And I think what members gives to their Pastor is no where compared to what they receive in return. Firstly, your Pastor feeds you with the word of God. Secondly, when you give to him, you receive more than what you gave.
So you see in essence, the members are rather gainers in a sense. However, that’s the way God has designed it for your advantage. Thus take advantage of every opportunity to sow seeds. And do it with faith and love; and you will doubtless return with your sheaves in your hand. Be a generous person and you will always have more than enough.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
