EVERYONE NEEDS A GOOD PASTOR

2 Chronicles 20:20 ......Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Being a child of God is not enough. You really need a pastor; and not just any pastor; you need a good pastor. The kind of pastor that you are under can largely determine how far you go in your life as a Christian. If you are under a wrong pastor, you are in real trouble; it will greatly hinder your progress in life. A true and good pastor can greatly enhance your life and take you very far in life and bring much prosperity into your life.
Every true child of God need to belong to a local church. The local church is our city of refuge. A refuge is place of protection from the man slayer. The devil is the man slayer today; and he is seeking for whom to destroy. But if you belong to a good local church, you will be greatly preserved and the devil cannot touch you.
One time Israel needed a leader to lead them to go to war to fight the Ammonites. Even though they had all the men of war, they needed a leader to lead them to war. This shows you the power of leadership. And they went and fetch a Jepthah, a man of Gilead who led them to victory.
John Maxwell said, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” This famous leadership nugget is so true. It is not somethings, but everything rises and falls on leadership. Thus, if there is bad leadership, the people will suffer.
One cannot detach the success of a church from its pastor. The prosperity of the church and the members is tied to the pastor of the church. The pastor must know this very well and take his ministry very seriously; and must apply himself to diligence to be able to deliver.
I counsel you today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to get yourself into a good local church where the word of God is taught with power, in the demonstration of the Holy Ghost and power.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
