BE STRONG IN THE GRACE OF CHRIST
BE STRONG IN THE GRACE OF CHRIST

Pastor Victor
2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Our theme scripture is apostolic instruction to young pastor Timothy. He was instructed by apostle Paul to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. There is grace in Christ Jesus. And we instructed to be strong in it.
The word strong in our opening scripture is from the Greek word “endunamoō which according to Thayer means to be strong, endue with strength, to receive strength, be strengthened, increase in strength. It implies being clothed and endue with grace.
It is one thing to have grace and it is another thing to be strong in it. To be strong in the grace of God means to function at a higher level in the grace of God. It means your revelation of the grace of God is strong. It means being unwavering in the grace of God.
You are not supposed to be strong in the law of Moses. Most believers in Christ emphasize on the law, the old testament. They advocate that we should obey it. But apostle Paul said, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And when you are strong in grace of God, you reign in this life over guilt, condemnation, sickness and poverty. God’s grace is what empowers you for victorious living in Christ Jesus. Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
