COMMITTED PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO GOD CAN USE IN THE CHURCH

2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

You must be committed to the church because, God only entrust greater responsibilities to those who are committed to kingdom things. Apostle Paul charged pastor Timothy to only entrust the revelations of God’s word to faithful men who shall be able to teach others.

Finding committed people in the church sometimes can be a little bit difficult especially in these last days where people are more concerned about what they will eat and drink and the necessities and luxuries of life.

But as pastors, one of the things that we must do is to fight for commitment. We have to fight for commitment. What I mean is that we have to transform normal church attendees into committed workers in the house of God. And this may take some prayer, teaching and encouragement. But we can win thus, let us fight for it. If you don’t reach out intentionally to get members committed, chances are you may not get folks to be committed to the things of God.

God cannot fully use you if you aren’t committed to the things of God. Your commitment is vital for kingdom advancement. Your commitment is also vital to your own advancement and promotion in the kingdom of God.

Be devoted to your church which is Christ’s body. Be concerned about the happenings in your church. Look around and see what you can do for the church to make the necessary impact it ought to make on earth. As you do that, God will begin to entrust to you greater responsibilities.

A man who has not been able to take care of 3 people as a shepherd or cell leader, should not be given the responsibility of taking care of 50 people as a pastor; he will fail; he is not fit for it. That’s the way the kingdom works.

Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
