GOD'S CONCERN IS NOT SIN

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Don’t be surprised by this topic. Sin is not an issue with God. How can sin be a problem for God when He has dealt with all sin on the cross? On the cross Jesus became sin that we might be made the righteousness of God. I know some folks will be totally shocked with this topic. To them sin is the big issue. This cannot be true if you truly understand the work of redemption.
Of course God doesn’t want you to live the wrong life. And this is because He loves you. God knows very well that sin will destroy you and that’s why He counsels you not to engage in unlawful acts. But the truth remains that sin has been completely dealt with; sin lost its power on the cross. When you know and believe that, since loses its power over you.
No one goes to hell for the sins that he commits. None! If anyone ever goes to hell, it is not because of adultery, murder, stealing, and the likes. None of these things can take a person to hell. If any of these things can take someone to hell, then God has to apologise to Jesus. Then God is not faithful to what His beloved Son did on the cross. These are strong statements that hair lips some folks.
On the cross, God punished all sins of all time and of all men in the body of Jesus. He bore all our sins, past, present and future. And God did this righteously. By the blood of Jesus, God has wiped out all your sins. Now in Christ, everyone has a clean slate before God. So even though you sin today, God still sees you righteous, holy and pure in His sight.
I believe God's greatest concern has been religion which has been fuelled over the years by ignorance. The opening scripture says, they being ignorant of God’s righteousness going about to establish their own righteousness; there you have it.
The folks who opposed Jesus and finally killed Him were not the sinners and tax collectors but the religious leaders. Man’s attempt to be justified before a holy God by His deeds has been man’s greatest problem. This is what hinders and nullifies the power of the gospel of grace. Sin has been dealt with successfully.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
