YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES AND OUTCOMES

Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
Every action and word spoken has consequences. I read about the ever longest reigning king in Judah, Manasseh. Manasseh was the son of king Hezekiah. This was the son born when God lengthened the days of Hezekiah. And he turned out to be one of the worse and evil kings Judah ever produced.
Manasseh did evil greatly; according to scripture, he even did it more than the heathen nations around them. God sent him prophets with his word to make him repent but he wouldn’t listen; he kept on with his evil deeds. Little did he know that his actions will lead him into captivity.
God sent the king of Assyria and took him into captivity in Babylon; there he was humbled and he realised that only the LORD is God. When he repented of his evil, God had mercy on him and caused him to return to his homeland.
Even though in Christ all sins have been forgiven and remitted, there are consequences to your actions. Grace is not a license to sin; it rather empowers you over sin. When God ask you not to do the wrong things of life, it is because He loves you. He knows the end of those wrong things is evil.
If you engage in lying, very soon you will not have any friend; if you cheat in business, sooner or later you will lose valuable customers and business partners – no one will trust you to do business with you. If you cheat on your spouse, you will end up a frustrated person in life. Of course God still loves you; but you will be at the losing end of life.
Consider your ways and see whether they are pleasing to the Lord. Before you take certain decisions and actions, consider its outcome and consequences. It will help you greatly to make wise choices. Let the word of God and the Holy Ghost inform your decisions and actions.
Allow the word of God to work in you strong to produce in you a godly character; allow the word of His grace to build you up for excellence in character. Godly attitude will take you very far. I have read the entire Bible over and over again; and I have found out that, no proud person ever went free; God humbled everyone of them. Pride will destroy you; ungodly behaviour will destroy you; living a lose life will reduce you to a loaf of bread. You are too high for these things.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
