THE VITAL SIDE OF REDEMPTION

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Redemption has two sides: the legal and the vital side. The legal side has to do with what Jesus came to do on the cross; while the vital side of redemption has to do with our faith in what redemption has offered to us. The lack of this knowledge is what has put many folks in perpetual bondage and unnecessary sufferings.
Suffering is unnecessary after the cross. The cross made all the difference. If anyone is suffering today, it is a clear indication that such a person is not participating in what redemption offered to humanity. And this is tied to the lack of the knowledge of redemption truth.
It is one thing for Jesus dying on the cross; and another thing for that which He did to be manifested in your life. For instance, Jesus died for every body in this world and those unborn generations. But not all men are saved. In the mind of God, all men have been redeemed legally; their redemption is a done deal. But until they put faith in Jesus for their salvation, they will die and go to hell.
It is just like the man who a million dollars has been put into his account and does not know and dies of hunger. It is not because there was no money in his account; the trouble is that he did not know what he had and he did not use it. Many believers are like that. They don’t know what has been given to them in Christ.
Now knowing what has been offered is one thing; while engaging those redemption benefits through faith is another totally different thing. Faith is the key to participate vitally in legal redemption. You must learn the faith life and release your faith into what Jesus brought to you. If you don’t start putting your faith to work, you may get sick and die; you may end up broke, you being the righteousness of God in Christ notwithstanding.
Being a believer does not necessarily immune you from the sufferings of life. Faith is your shield against satanic assaults. Take the vital side of redemption seriously in order for you to live a colourful life in the kingdom of God. It is time to take spiritual responsibility for your destiny.

Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
