FOLLOW THE FAITH OF GODLY MEN

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Several years ago, I chanced on a book written by Robert Liardon titled, God’s Generals. It is a very popular book; and I will not hesitate to recommend it for anyone who desire to see the miraculous in their life and ministry. The book is simply a collection of godly men whose faith have been proven over time and brought them tremendous miracles and marvellous deeds.
It was in that book I was introduced to men like Jack Coe, A. A Allen, Smith Wigglesworth, William Braham, William Seymour, Kathryn Kuhlman and a host of other great men of God. That book lit a fire on my inside for the miraculous. By the time I was through reading it, I wanted to see the miracles these men of God experienced in their ministry. I read the book with a couple of friends and the stories in that book drove us to nights of prayers and fasting.
We prayed and fasted; desiring to see the same miraculous manifestations these godly men saw in their ministry. And God took those moments and built in us a solid foundation for prayer, studying of the word, and reading of anointed materials. This is the kind of followership God wants us to have in the body of Christ.
The Holy Scripture is littered with men whose faith has demonstrated the power of God. Moses stretched forth his rod and the red Sea parted and Israel walked on dry ground; David killed a lion and a bear; Samson killed a lion with no weapon in his hand; Elisha made the axe head float; Elijah locked the heavens for three and half years and opened it when he was ready. Daniel and his friends withstood Nebuchadnezzar and his ungodly kingdom and quenched the violence of fire and stopped the mouth of lions. These are acts we are supposed to follow.
In our present day, we have seen how God have used men to do mighty things by their faith. The issue of faith is of vital importance. Men like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts, David Oyedepo, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack, and a host of others have used their faith to do tremendous things around the world; follow their faith. If you do what they did, you will get the same results they got.
With wisdom, listen to their tapes or read their books, and you will get to know the secret of their ministry. And as you apply the wisdom you learn, you will command the same order of results.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
