JESUS KNOWS YOU

Mathew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Who are these that Jesus referred to that at the last day, the Lord will say, I knew you not? Are these Christians? Are they Christians who have sinned? If they are Christians who have sinned, then what kind of sin is that? Is there any sin that has not been forgiven nor remitted by the blood of Jesus? And which particular sin will make the Lord say to the believer I knew you not?
Let us juxtapose the opening scripture with another scripture which came from the very lips of the Master Himself:
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27

Here Jesus is saying that He knows His sheep. Wow! Now the question is, who is Jesus' sheep? Who qualifies to be Jesus' sheep? Must you attain to a certain level of holiness before you become the sheep of Jesus? What percentage of holiness is that?
Most people who really use our opening scripture to beat believers in Christ don’t really have a revelation of the scriptures. If you study that particular scripture in context, He was referring to false prophets; and He calls them workers of iniquity. This certainly cannot be children of God.
The fundamental truth about the Christian faith is that, all our sins (past, present, and future) have been blotted out and remitted by Christ's finished work on the cross. God does not keep records of the sins of the believer. The sins that you have already committed, the one that you will ever commit, have already been wiped out by the blood of Jesus.
God does not hold any sin against you. This is the pure light of the glorious gospel of Christ which is very hard for religious people, and even some so called New Testament preachers to accept.
I am by no means making light of sin. What I am doing is magnifying the grace of God above human effort and exertions. Sin and its consequences only destroys the one who engages in it. But the penalty of every sin have been fully paid, and all the demand and claims of justice have been fully satisfied. This is the glorious gospel of Christ! And it is what empowers you to live above sin.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
