PRACTISING THE PRESENCE OF JESUS

Matthew 28:20 ........ I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
If you have been a believer for a while, you might have come across the above caption: practising the presence of Jesus. And it is a valid principle and teaching from the word of God. You can truly practise the presence of Jesus.
We do not only have the presence of God, but you can actually practise that presence which will bring you endless victories. The day you got born again, God in the person of the Holy Ghost came into your life – of course this is different from the second experience where you receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Every child of God has the presence of God. In the New Testament, God doesn’t come and go; He is ever abiding with us by His Spirit. We do not need to ask for His presence. What you need to do is to believe you have the presence of Jesus with you.
The Holy Ghost who is the angel of God’s presence is the one who makes the presence of God real to us. Now, we can practise this presence. One way to do that is to be conscious of the presence of Jesus. You have to always be conscious of Jesus being with you; don’t be conscious of your sins nor devils. Be conscious of Jesus.
Secondly, always say, thank you Jesus; I know that you love me; your beauty is beyond description; I am thankful for knowing you. Talk to Him like you would a friend. He wants to hear your voice. Thirdly, acknowledge Him in your victories. When you get some victory of any kind, no matter how little it is, just say, Lord, I know you are at work; this is your doing.
The more you do these little things, the more you are practising His presence. And the more you practise His presence, the more victories you will have, for where the Spirit of the Lord is ruling, there is liberty. Joseph knew that God was with Him; he was conscious of that; and for that reason, he succeeded at whatever he did. God gave him all the favour and wisdom he required in his daily work. Practise His presence today!
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
