Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory:
Christ lives in you. This means that you are God’s operational headquarters. Some people think that God’s operational headquarters is heaven. But I believe that God’s operational headquarters is you; He is alive in you by His Spirit. Without you, God is not in touch with the world. He can only touch the world through you.
Your operational headquarters is where you work and activities are carried out. How does God reach out to a sinner on this earth? It is through His church – it is through you and I. Now, where does God really operate from? The answer is you. When you get to know that, you will take your life very seriously; you will know that you aren’t an ordinary being walking the face of the earth. You are God’s hands, eyes, legs, etc. reaching out to men with His love.
You are to help men see the beauty of God. You are eyes to the blind, feet to the lame, and mouth to the dumb and ears to the deaf. God is alive in you, touching lives and changing lives. What a joy to know that He is saving sinners, healing the sick, mending broken hearts all through you. You are a vital tool in the hands of God.
And since you are God’s headquarters, you are not supposed to be sick or poor. You are destined to be healthy and strong and prosperous. One who is sick cannot touch lives. It takes the strong and healthy to do that. One who is broke cannot affect a lot of lives; it will take the prosperous man.
Make yourself available for God’s use. Yield yourself to the Holy Ghost. Let Him work in and through you to reach out to someone. God is counting on you to reach people. Without the church, there is little God can do on earth. Let this truth sink into you and make yourself a useable vessel unto the Lord.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
