THE WORD IS THE REAL DEAL

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
You can read newspapers from sun up to sun down and it will not change your life. You can watch soap opera all day and it will not change your life. You can watch football match for several hours and it will not make any difference in your life. You can even read motivational books and may experience some minute change.
Unfortunately, some folks spend so much time on these things that have no significant impact on their lives. We spend money on that which is not bread and on that which doesn’t satisfy.
The only substance that can change a man’s life is the word of God. John 6:63 says, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. You see where real life and change is – it is the word that quickens – it is the word that makes things alive and brings real transformation in a man’s life. It is only the word that can change a sinner into a saint.
For this reason, wisdom demands that your greatest investment should be in the word of God. Invest your time, energy, and money into the word of God. Some people find it difficult to spend money on an anointed tape or book. Yet they don’t mind spending money on clothes, shoes and the luxuries of life. It is time to get wise in the word. Load your mind and heart with God’s word.
A time is coming that if you don’t know the word of God, your life will be miserable. Believe me! Those who know the word will be strong and do exploits. The word must be the first thing you read in the morning and the last thing you read before going to bed. Let it be your meditation everyday. Treasure God’s word more than silver and gold. It will bring you great profits in life and rest on every side.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
