GREAT IS THE COMPANY OF THOSE WHO PUBLISH THE WORD

Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

God only gives the word. But it is not God who is going to publish the word. We have to know where we come in as a church as far as the publishing of the word of God is concerned. The pastor is not the one who gives the word. The minister’s responsibility is to publish the word. And greatness is conferred only on those who publish the word.

God has placed the responsibility of the preaching of the word on the church. He did not give it to angels. When God needed someone to preach the gospel to the house of Cornelius, He did not send an angel; He sent for Peter the apostle.

And while Peter spoke the word, the Holy Ghost fell on all who heard the word. Miracles happen when the word is preached with power. Destinies are tied to the preaching of the word. We must realise that God’s power is released through His word. Whenever God wants to do something, He sends His word; and his word accomplishes His desires and purposes on earth.

God prized highly those who are involved in publishing the word. Scripture says, those who labour in the word and doctrine deserves double honour (1 Timothy 5:17). God does not reward supervisors of the word but labourers. Like never before, we have to invest mightily into publishing the word. As a believer in Christ, you must be involved in preaching the gospel. It is the only solution to the problems of man.

Commit your resources into the publishing of the word. In these technological times, books, tapes, websites, television, radio, social media and other internet related tools are essential for the propagation of the word of God. God’s desire is that the earth be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. And He is counting on you for that to happen.

We have no idea of how much God is doing with the preaching of the word. It is when we get to heaven that we will fully grasp what our preaching of the word has accomplished. So, don’t give up in preaching the word of God. Put your money into the preaching of the word. Evil men are sponsoring evil and terrorism. Sponsor the gospel of Jesus Christ to save men’s lives.
