PREACH MORE OF GOD'S LOVE

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Our world is bankrupt of God’s love. I am not talking about Hollywood or Nollywood love – these kinds of love are all bankrupt – they are not real; they are all based on performance. I am referring to the God kind of love. This kind of love is unconditional and unmerited – and it only originates from God.
God loves us so much that He sent His only beloved Son into this sinful world to die for sinful, wicked, and undeserving men, who did not even care about Him. Jesus’ death on the cross is the greatest demonstration of God’s love to man. Jesus said, greater love has no man than a man should lay down his life for his friends. Jesus loved you so much that He died and paid the penalty for your sins and delivered us from sin.
While I was growing up as young believer in Christ, I was never exposed to the God kind of love. But when I started listening to people like Joseph Prince and Andrew Wommack, I was exposed to God’s love. The revelation of God’s love became so real to my spirit and I fell in love with Jesus. Ever since, I have studied more and preached more on God’s love till date.
It is important you encounter the love of God. It will change your life. I know you are a nice Christian and desire to please the Lord. But are you in love with God? Do you know the God-kind of love? Have you encountered the God-kind of love? This is the love that changes a sinner to a saint. When you know God’s love, you become stable in your walk with God. His love strengthens you in your faith walk.
The church over the years have preached a lot of living right and messages against sin. Look around you and find out, how many preachers on this earth preach the love of God? Just take the stats and find out for yourself. If love is the greatest virtue in the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 13:13), and we don’t major in it, what kind of church or Christians are we then?
When you hear about the love of God, something happens inside you – you feel accepted and the warmth of God Almighty, drawing you closer into an intimate walk with the Lord. Where this God-kind of love abound in the hearts of men, there will be love, kindness, unity, joy, women will be treated right, and marriages will work, and children will grow well.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
