You cannot succeed without a plan. And without a plan, you are going nowhere. A growth plan is systematic steps designed to help in your growth. Of necessity, you must have a growth plan.
For instance, I have a growth plan which include reading through the Bible every year. And this I do by reading certain amount of chapters of the Bible daily. I don’t mind if it even take me two years to read through the Bible. As long as I am doing it daily, it is fine with me. And with that plan, I have successfully read through the Bible at least 5 times; that is no mean achievement.
You can do the same. All you need is a plan to do it; and a willingness and the desire to follow it through. You can develop your own plan for growth. You must lay down things to do on a consistent and systematic way to enhance your growth as a Christian.
For instance, you can decide to read at least 1 chapter of the Bible each day; you can decide to read at least a book in every month. You can also decide to listen to at least 1 hour tape daily; you can also decide to pray for at least 30 minutes daily. Following the devotionals I sent you every morning can greatly enhance your spiritual growth. Just open up to the Holy Ghost and let Him help you come out with a plan for your growth.
God wants you to grow. He does not want you to be the same person you have always been for years. You have to make spiritual progress and advancement each day of your life. You need to live an ever increasing and improving life. Determine that from today, you will develop a growth plan and follow it through.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
