Your earning in life is determined by your learning. How much you earn is dependent upon how much you learn. To increase your earning, it is not by working more; rather it is by learning more. You are limited by how much you know; what you don’t know you cannot put it to work. You can only practice what you know.
You cannot truly grow wealth without a strong financial education. What our generation need is a strong financial education. And unfortunately, our traditional schools don’t teach these things. Most of the folks who taught us in school knew nothing about financial education.
All through my educational life in school, from primary to the university, there was no one class on how to manage my money, something that is so important to life that I use everyday. Did this people really prepare me for the world that lay ahead of me?
In the real world, what you need is some good English on how to read and write, then basic Maths. You don’t need calculus, algebra and the rest complicated maths to succeed in life. This is what it takes to succeed. Your financial statement only shows addition and subtraction and not some complicated maths that you cannot understand.
Many of us went to school and acquired degrees that cannot be used in the real world. True education needed for the real life is not taught in schools. You have to know this very well. To get the true education, you have to start reading and listening to the right materials outside the traditional school setting.
A strong financial education gives you an unfair advantage; helps you to know what to do to create wealth; you get to understand the trend of money – how money flows from place to place – the path of money and wealth; gives you the ability to magnetise wealth; saves you from poverty and financial hardships; helps you to know how to manage wealth. Acquire a strong financial education by reading books, journals, and listening to tapes on money by wealthy men.
