DON'T LET YOUR WORK STOP YOU FROM PRAYING

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
I understand that we live in a busy time like never before that it seems that even the 24 hours that God has given to us is not even enough. Our schedules are becoming tighter like never before. From busy work schedules to family commitments, the demands just keep increasing. You can even lose your prayer life as a minster of the gospel with busy schedules. So, this has nothing to do with just the laity of the church. It applies to everyone in the church.
In the midst of all our tight schedules, we should not let them take the place of prayer in our lives. Prayer is your breath; if prayer is taken out of your life, you are finished; it will just be much easier for the enemy to flush you out of the system. This is why you have to take prayer seriously.
We are living in the last days and demonic activities is on the rise. You cannot afford to hide behind the excuse of the demands of work and forfeit your prayer life. Prayer also strengthen your relationship with God as you fellowship with the Holy Ghost.
Your prayer altar must be burning all the time. God commanded Israel to keep the fire burning continually on the altar; He also told them to keep the lamps in the temple burning all the time.
You are the temple of the living God and Christ dwells in your heart. God expects your life to be afire. You have to make time to pray. In life, you give your time to those things that are important to you. Prayer is your fuel. Make time to pray. No one has time; you have to make time to do the things that are dear to you. And prayer is not something that you can delegate; you will have to pray by yourself.
If you haven’t received the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues, you will have to ask the Lord to fill you with His Spirit. Without the Holy Ghost, you cannot just pray effectively. The human mind and vocabulary is limited in spiritual communication. That’s why God gave us the language of the Spirit for effective communication. Receive grace to pray!
