GIVE YOURSELF TO THE HOLY GHOST

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

God wants to use you for His glory. I remember years ago, all our desire was that God would use us mightily. We read about the mighty moves of God and revivals in the days of Smith Wigglesworth, Jack Coe, A. A. Allen, William Braham, Kathryn Kuhlman and the rest. Their stories moved us to nights of prayers and fastings.

God hasn’t changed. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The God who used these mighty men and even other men of God in our days is still in the business of using people.

But the key to being used of the Lord is “giving yourself fully to Him”. You must learn to give yourself to the Lord. Surrender is the birthplace for greatness. You have to lay down your will to take His will. God’s will for you is the best you can get. Don’t be afraid to yield your life to the Holy Ghost.

We are told in scripture that God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. And from that sleep, God made a woman for him. “Sleep” is a picture of complete yieldedness. When you yield completely to the Holy Ghost, then He can make something beautiful out of your life. Your beauty is in your yielding!

Jesus said, “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 MSG‬‬‬

Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
