FAITH IS A PERSONAL THING

FAITH IS A PERSONAL THING

Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

You cannot force your faith on people. Sometimes in our eagerness to see people get well or receive their breakthrough, we try to force our prayers and faith on them. In my experience in ministering to people, when they are eager to receive, it is much easier ministering to them.

We have to learn from the way Jesus ministered. Jesus always waited for the faith response from people before ministering to them. He knew their faith in the delivery of their miracle was vital. So, very often, He would ask, do you believe I am able to do this? He knew the miracle was more dependent on the people’s faith than His power.

For instance, I believe in divine health and I preach it with all vehemence, which may rub certain folks the wrong way. But at the same time, I do not force it on people. I only try to show them that there is a better and a higher way to health than pills. When I meet people who believe in taking pills and stuff like that, I do not condemn them; I know that is their level of understanding.

Likewise, those of you who do not believe in divine health and healing miracles should not criticise those of us who believe.

Jesus will always meet you at the level of your faith. One time someone said, come to my house and heal my daughter. Jesus went to the man’s house and raised his daughter from the dead. One man said, do not come to my house; just speak the word only and my servant will be well. Jesus spoke the word and the man’s servant was gloriously healed. Jesus met both of these people at the level of their faith.

However, Jesus commended the man who said, just speak the word only and my servant shall be whole. Jesus said, this man had great faith. At what level of faith do you want to operate? Great faith or little faith? The choice is yours.
