SPEAKING PRECEDES SEEING

SPEAKING PRECEDES SEEING
Friday, 30th August 2019
Pastor Victor

Matthew 12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

Take a careful look at the opening scripture and you will see something amazing. We are told that they brought one who was blind and dumb. But the moment the man was healed, it was reported as the blind and dumb both “spake and saw”. Before the healing it was “blindness” preceding the “dumbness”. But after the healing, it is “speaking” preceding “seeing”.

This is not a grammatical error. This is a lesson on faith that you have to glean. If you want to see your healing, you will have to speak before you see it come to pass. If you want to see your breakthrough, you will have to speak it before you will ever see it.

Jesus speaking concerning faith after His resurrection said, Blessed are those who believe even though they have not seen it yet (John 20:29). If you are waiting to see your healing before you say I am healed, you may wait for a long time.

In the school of faith, speaking precedes seeing. It is confession before manifestation. Your mouth is key to releasing your blessings. You have to learn how to skilfully use your mouth to open doors of blessings for you. Talk your way out of lack, sickness and the oppressions of life. Keep on declaring what God has said concerning your life. Take your confessions seriously, for they can determine your destiny.

Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
