ANCHOR YOUR LIFE WITH THE SCRIPTURES

Hebrews 6:18-19 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Anchor your life with the word of God. God’s word is unshakeable and unmovable. It is the anchor that keeps the soul, steadfast and sure. When ships arrives at the harbour, they are anchored so that they do not drift away. The anchor keeps the ship steady, irrespective of the waves and storms.
We live in a world where there are a lot of storms and waves blowing in all directions. The only way to stay steady and steadfast is to anchor your life with the scriptures.
You cannot put your faith in anything in this world; every thing and people in this world cannot be trusted. The only trusted thing that exist is God’s word. You cannot even put your faith in your pastor. You cannot anchor your life on a man; that is sinking sand.
If you don’t put the word of God in you, when the storms of life blow, you will fall apart like a two dollar suit case. There are so many believers around the world who have not really put God’s word in them; and that is living dangerously.
There have to be certain bullet and power scriptures that have come alive strong in you. A scripture like no evil shall befall you; nor any plague come near your dwelling is one of my anchor scriptures. That’s why I know that I will live long on earth; it is a protective scripture for me. What scriptures are you laying hold on? What scriptures are your life built on?
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
