THE PROPHETS' REWARD

Matthew 10:41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
When the Shunamite woman gave to Elisha, she received what she did not even asked for. Elisha spoke words that came to pass. The prophet’s blessing is his reward. Thus you must be sensitive to the words that a prophet speaks to you, especially when you make a release.
Elisha prophesied a son to this generous woman who had such respect for the prophet of God. That which was impossible in her life became possible.
The prophet’s reward is that word the prophet speaks into your life that will come to pass; and this often is generated by your giving. Smart believers know how to activate the prophet’s reward.
When the widow of Zarephath gave to the prophet Elijah, she had more than enough to eat with her house. Remember what she had left was her last meal; but she gave it to the prophet of God. What she gave brought the power of God upon her substance and it multiplied.
Part showing your appreciation of your pastor is in how you bless him with your substance. Any church that doesn’t appreciate their pastor don’t truly value the gift that God has given them. Whatever you do not appreciate, depreciate in your life. The more you appreciate your pastor by giving to him, the more you enjoy the impact of his ministry in your life.
Every true man of God carries a reward. And from our opening scripture, Jesus showed us how to tap into that reward. Don’t listen to carnal believers who are against pastors receiving offering. Do what Jesus tells you to do and you will get the reward that He promised.
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
