CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS!

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
One of the main thrust of my ministry is to give men everywhere, “Christ Consciousness”. What most preachers preach is “sin consciousness” and not Christ consciousness.
The gospel of Christ is not about do’s and don’ts; if it is, preach good works for salvation to the sinner and see whether he will get born again. No amount of preaching of good works can turn a man from sin unto righteousness. You can tell them to stop smoking, stop wearing mini skirt, stop fornication and adultery, stop homosexuality and the likes and they will never be saved.
This is simply because it is only the gospel that has the power to save men because it is the power of God unto salvation; for in it is revealed the righteousness of God from faith to faith (Romans 1:16-17). Am I against good works? Certainly not! I have high standards of living. But my faith is not in my good works. My faith is in Jesus and His finished work.
And God by His grace has mandated me to declare unto men every where this glorious gospel of grace that can change a man from a sinner to a saint. One good thing you need to do for your self is to be “Christ conscious” and not “sin conscious”.
To be conscious of your sins is to be occupied with self. While to be Christ conscious is to be occupied with Christ. Sin consciousness breeds guilt and condemnation. While Christ consciousness breeds confidence and boldness toward God. Hallelujah!
Listen to messages that reveals Jesus and His loveliness and the beauty of His finished work. And when you do, you will be empowered to live for Him; it will give you stability in your walk with God. Be filled with Christ. Let Christ fill your mind today!
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died and was raised for me. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit. I declare that I am born again in Jesus’ name.
