WE WALK BY FAITH

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

God is a faith God. And without faith it is impossible to please Him. It takes faith to have an effective walk with God just as l shared with you yesterday. Sometimes God tells you not to go to certain places or cut off certain relationships; don't ask stupid questions about why you should obey. Just simply obey.

One day God spoke to me clearly and said, "You have to learn to trust that inner voice.” In this instance, God was referring to the inner witness which is the voiceless leading of the Holy Ghost. One time I had this minister friend; nothing bad has happened between us but God asked me to cut off the relationship with this guy. Remember as at this time I was asking God to give me ministerial friends. Till today I did not know why. I tried to find out but never got an answer and I simply obeyed.

God knows deep things we don't know. So when He instructs us on something, we have to believe Him and obey. This is the walk of faith; and that's what pleases God. Even when it comes to writing, you will not know how much you can write until you put pen to paper. It doesn't take any faith to be at the harbor. But if you are to move to some distant land and don't know what is on the way, it will take faith to move.

When God was leading Ruth to go with Naomi to Bethlehem from Moab, she did not have all the details of the things that were going to befall her, but she simply believed and went. Later on through series of events that took place, she ended up at the right place at the right time. She got married to one of the blessed men in Bethlehem; and above all became an ancestor of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you will believe God and follow His instructions, you will end up with much more. At the end of the day Abraham ended up being the father of many nations and the faith movement.
