THE TRUE DEFINITION OF HOLY LIVING

Titus 3:5-7 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

From yesterday lesson, we learned that rest is holy to God; rest is God’s priority. For most people, holy living is staying away from fornication and adultery. But in God’s terms, living holy is trusting in what His beloved Son, Jesus, has done. God does not want you to trust in your works for righteousness and holiness.

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Trusting in your righteousness is unholy to God. When you trust in how good you've been, and base your salvation on that, you are living an unholy life. When you think because you have not fornicated so you will make it to heaven, you are living an unholy life. What is holy to God is trusting in Jesus' finished work.

In order for God to lead you, you have to learn to rest in His wisdom. Hence when we let God lead us, it is resting. This is also holy to the Lord. It is resting in His wisdom; it is allowing the wisdom of God to guide us from within which brings untold success. Speaking in tongues too is a form of rest and it is holy to God.

Speaking in tongues too is rest hence holy to the Lord. Hallelujah!

Isaiah 28:11-12 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

This is awesome. Tongues speaking is the rest and the refreshing. The more you speak in tongues the more you are taking your rest; and the more you are living holy to God. When you speak in tongues you are empowered for holy living. Tongues speaking is holy to the Lord. The more you speak in tongues, the more you take your rest and the Holy Ghost moves into action. Spend more time speaking in tongues and you will be amazed at the results you will experience.
