Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions (Creativityatwork.com). It also involves generating new useful ideas.

Without creativity we are in big trouble. In this dynamic world, the element of creativity cannot be taken for granted. Without creativity everything becomes just normal. If you want excellence and making a difference in your world, you must embrace creativity. Life will be very dull and uninteresting without creativity. In fact, everything would have been the same. Creativity is the womb of inventions. Someone created the light bulb; someone manufactured cars; the air plane is someone’s creation, someone made computers etc. Where is your creative work?

God is a creator. He is the creator God. And His word is His creative power which He uses to create. As new creations in Christ Jesus, we have the creative nature of God in us. He has given us the ability to create things and beautify our world. You can create the kind of life you want to live. And it is this creative ability that will cause you to stand out of the majority.

There is always a creative way of doing what you do; find out. And instead of struggling for creative ideas for your business, career, marriage and job, start meditating on the word of God. As you spend quality time meditating on Jesus through His word, Christ who is God’s wisdom to you will come alive in you; and the result will be creative ideas that will change your life and your world. You don’t have to struggle through life like others. Let the illuminating power of the word illuminate your mind and see your mind see what others are not seeing. This simple exercise will distinguish you from the masses. Spend time meditating on God’s word today! This is the wisdom of God.
