Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Mike Murdock said, “Nothing will master you until it happens daily”. I better pray 1 hour each day for a week than, pray for 7 hours at a stretch for one day, and not pray for the remaining days of the week. I better study the word 1 hour each day for a week, than study the word for 7 hours at a stretch for one day, and not study for the remaining days of the week.
It was Jesus’ custom to go to the synagogue every Sabbath. Someone once said “if you study a subject 1 hour a day for five years, you will become an expert in that field. It is so true. It is one simple way to master any subject. If there is any subject that you want to become an expert in it, just practice this simple habit. The key here is consistency. Whatever you are consistent in doing, will eventually gain a mastery over you.
Habits are powerful elements that can either make or mar you. Good habits will enhance the quality of your life. While bad habits on the other hand, will hinder your progress greatly. I believe one habit that will greatly enhance your life and put you over is consistent church attendance. Most believers have ignored this practice. This one habit will change your life. Don’t go to church once a while. Especially when you are in a good church where teachings are done in series, as you miss church services, you get out of the flow of revelation. Attend a good church. And do it consistently. Practice praying and studying the word and going to church regularly. Jesus practiced it!
