THERE IS ALREADY DEATH HERE

Exodus 12:23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

You can only punish an offence once. To punish the same offence twice will be travesty of justice; such a jury is not worth his salt.

One cardinal thing about the Passover lamb that was killed in Egypt was that, there is already a death here death angel; you cannot come in here.

The presence of blood on the door post and lintels was indication that there was already a death here. Thus the death angel who is the destroyer passed over any house with blood on it, irrespective of who was inside.

The eating of the Lord's supper according to the scriptures is the proclamation of the death of Jesus. For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. (1 Corinthians 11:26 NLT)

This implies that whenever we eat the Lord's supper, we are making a solemn declaration to all the powers of darkness that, there is already a death here; you cannot come in here, including coronavirus and all the evils of this world; passover. Hallelujah! Through the Lord’s supper, every evil is supposed to passover you.

We live in a wicked world like never before. The world is not getting less wicked. Evil abound everywhere. But in the midst of all these, we can find safety in Christ through the Lord's supper.

The more you eat the Lord's supper, the more you are telling death and its cohorts that you cannot come to this house; passover. Eat the Lord's supper with this consciousness and release the protective power of the finished work in your life. Christ's death is your death; to suffer twice is not right. Take advantage of the Lord’s supper in this dangerous times and declare the Lord’s death till He comes.
