Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
One time while Jesus was going to Jerusalem He got hungered. On seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came closer to it peradventure He may find anything on it. When He got there, He found nothing on it; upon this he cursed the fig tree. By the next morning, the fig tree was dead from its roots.
Jesus came to teach us how to subdue circumstances around us. He showed us how we can tame the forces of hell and nature. It is very frustrating when you are not in control of the happenings of your life. God did not create us to be victims in life. The new creation was made a superior being to the devil, the world and the circumstances of life. We are supposed to be in charge.
Mountains don’t move by themselves; rather they are made to move. If you don’t address your mountain, it will be there staring at you probably till Jesus comes. Jesus shows us that the key to move mountains is by speaking to them. It implies that you call out their names and address them in the name of Jesus.
Jesus spoke to the tree. Jesus spoke what He wanted to see happen. He released His faith. And when He spoke His disciples heard Him. You must learn to address certain things in your life specifically by speaking to them and commanding them to align themselves to the will of God. You are not supposed to speak to God about the mountain; that will not change anything. Rather speak God’s word to the mountain and it will move.
Nothing was able to stop Jesus from achieving His goal on earth. He was able to tame every situation that presented itself. Jesus was never a victim. What is that mountain staring at you in the face? The good news is that it is moveable. Put the word of God in your mouth and begin to address it in the name of Jesus, and it will bow. The power is in your mouth. No demon nor situation can stand words spoken in faith and impregnated by the power of God. Instead of complaining, release your faith today by speaking to your mountain.
