INCREASE YOUR GIVING 2

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Generosity is a virtue in the kingdom of God. This is one virtue you must have if you are going to make an impact in the kingdom of God. Stinginess will only make your life stink and miserable. God is a generous God; and likewise His kids should be. Stinginess is the way of the devil. It is satan’s tool to keep the believer in Christ in perpetual financial bondage.

There is no other sure way to a life of prosperity than what the scripture teaches us, giving. Giving is the gateway to financial prosperity in the kingdom. If you are going to prosper financially in life, you must take your giving life seriously and intentional.

There is no other way. The only way to receive consistently according to God’s plan, is to sow seeds consistently. If you sow once a while, you will receive once a while. If you don’t become intentional about giving, you will never see increase in your finances.

When I was not intentional about my giving, I never received too. When I took my giving seriously and intentional, and sowed seeds consistently, I began receiving consistently. One thing I told our congregation sometime ago is that they should up their giving. Those who complied to that prophetic instruction saw tremendous blessings. I knew the only way to increase our receiving is by increasing our giving

Unfortunately, there are believers who are still giving the same offering they have been giving 2 or 5 five years ago. And they still wonder why their receiving has not changed. It will not change. This is simple logic. In the natural, if you plant 10 corn seeds, you will get exactly the harvest of 10 corn seeds. No more, no less. If you want a greater harvest, don’t pray for a greater harvest; just increase your seed and your harvest will increase.

There is no need to cry and beg God; it will not work. From our opening scripture, it says the same measure with which you measure, it shall be measured to you.

What the Holy Ghost is saying is that, the amount you sow is the amount you will reap. Don’t give the same offering you were giving years ago or even last year. If you want new levels of increase, then raise your offering and you will see a corresponding increase in your receiving.
