GOD'S GENEROSITY
GOD'S GENEROSITY

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
God’s generosity is beyond measure. It is something that is beyond human reasoning. God is a giver; this is His true nature. God is not a taker; neither is He a taskmaster. God is the giver of all good and perfect things.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God is not the giver of sickness and diseases. Neither does He use these things to humble and discipline His children. God is the most generous being that ever existed, exist and will exist. None of us can match His generosity. And God’s generosity is fuelled by His love. A lot of times most people give just because of what they will get in return. But God truly gives freely without reservation.
God is not the one withholding things from us. God is the one looking for the slightest opportunity to bless you. Religion have wrongly presented God to us as one who is so tight fisted; that you have to convince Him enough before He will give you whatever you ask for. God is not like that. In fact, through Christ, He has given us all things already.
What else can be more than eternal life? What else can be more than the Holy Ghost living on your inside? What else can be more than talking in tongues and flowing in the gifts of the Spirit? If God has given us all these things, what is that house, job or car that He will not give you?
God gave us His best, Jesus Christ. There is nothing in heaven and on earth or beneath the earth that is comparable to Jesus. Jesus was the only begotten of the Father when He was born. So when Jesus hanged on the cross, dying for sinful and wicked men, it was the greatest demonstration of God’s generosity; God was giving His only beloved Son for undeserving men. He was giving His very best to men who had insulted, reviled, opposed and disobeyed Him. This is love at its best!
From newer translations of the Bible, the word “spared” in our opening scripture is translated “withhold”. So Romans 8:32 will read thus: He that withhold not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all,.... God had a choice to either give up Jesus or withhold Him from us.
Thank God He gave up Jesus for us. I want you to notice the phrase “for us all”. It implies that Jesus came for us and not for Himself. All that He came to do on earth was for us. This is what you need to believe.
