TRUST THE LORD WITH YOUR LIFE

Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

When God speaks to you, you do something. But when God direct your paths, you don’t have to do anything – He speaks to the paths to align to His purposes and plans for your life. And this only happens when you trust and commit your ways to Him, and acknowledge Him in all your ways.

In this instance, sometimes you just find yourself doing the right things without any effort of yours; you just find yourself saying the right words, and even your jokes could even be of the Lord to speak to someone; you just find yourself at the right place at the right time with the right people doing the right things.

It is vital that you commit your life to God to direct your paths. God only direct your paths when you commit your ways to Him. Those who don’t commit their ways to the Lord would have to direct their paths themselves.

God is a faithful God. And we can trust Him with our lives. And trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something (Oxford Dictionary). Apostle Paul so trusted the Lord with his life. This is what he said:

2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

We can commit our lives to God and He will keep it for us. God only keep that which we commit to Him. If you don’t commit your life to Him, He is not obligated to keep it. Don’t rely on your mind; it’s not safe. Don’t rely on your education; it will fail. Don’t rely on the people that you know; man is only dust who cannot guarantee the next minute of his life. Look up to the Lord Jesus for everything in life.

We have not believed in vain. God is a faithful God. Do not be afraid to trust Him with your life. Don’t look elsewhere for help or for anything. God is all you need to have all your needs met. All your two eyes must be looking up to Him.
