ACTIVATING SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SPIRIT

James1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

The things of God can be activated. And one of the things to do to activate specific instructions is to obey the general ones given in scriptures. If you don’t read the letter that I wrote to you, why should I pick my phone and call you? There are those who don’t read and practice what the scriptures says, but expect God to talk to them and give them specific instructions for their lives – it does not work like that.

General instructions are all of the instructions giving in scriptures which include tithing, giving of Firstfruit offering, fasting, prayers, studying the word of God, attending church services, honoring leaders, loving one another, believing the prophet, etc.

Isaiah 30:20‭-‬21 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The reason your teachers will not be removed to a corner is because, it is through them that you can come out of your afflictions. And when you see them, that is engage them, then and only will you hear a word behind you saying, this is the way, walk in it.

Thus if your teachers are removed to a corner, you are sunk. You need a teacher in your life; one who will open the word to you to impact you with understanding – one whose teaching will establish you in the things of God.

God will start talking to you when you yield to the teaching Ministry and start practicing what is written in the word of God. Until you hear from God, focus on doing what He has clearly said in the scriptures. The word of God cannot be broken; in doing it is your prosperity. Feed your inner man on the word; then commit yourself to doing what it says. If you do that for a while, coupled with praying and seeking the Lord, He will start leading you and talking to you, giving you specific instructions for your living and prosperity.
