John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
When we talk about the new creation, we are referring to the born again believer in Christ. We are talking about the man whose spirit has been recreated and imparted with the life and nature of God. The new creation is the man whose spirit has come alive to God and he is in oneness with Him.
I believe the revelation of the new creation is what will change the church of Jesus Christ. Without the true revelation of the new creation, we will live defeated lives, being whipped by the enemy and the forces of life. You have to make it your top priority to learn all you can about the new creation.
The spirit of the sinner is dead, totally separated from God. It has the nature of the devil. The day that man receives Christ into his life, he is transferred from darkness to light; his spirit immediately is recreated and imparted with the nature of God. There is a supplanting of the nature of satan by the nature of God.
The new creation now looks exactly like his heavenly Father. He has the life, righteousness, holiness, love and faith that God has. Everything in God is now resident in the new creation. He looks exactly like Jesus for as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). This is too much for the human mind to comprehend.
This nature of God is superior to sickness and death. Just like God cannot be sick so the new creation cannot be sick. Just like God is not broke, so the new creation cannot be broke. The new creation cannot hate; the love of God is shed abroad in his heart by the Holy Ghost. He believes! He hopes! He is victorious.
The new creation is the most powerful being on earth. He is not a victim of circumstances. He is not subject to satan. He is first class and the best of God’s creation. Hallelujah!
