DON'T STOP WORKING THE WORD

Pneuma Conference 2021DON'T STOP WORKING THE WORD

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

The day you stop working the word, it stops working for you. That’s the way the walk of the Spirit is. The word works for you as long as you put it to work. The word on its own will not work for you until you put it to work. Can you say you are tired of breathing so you will go on leave? Well, you know the result – it is death. It is the same spiritually.

For instance, Genesis 8:22 says, While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, ........shall not cease. This means that as soon as you stop sowing seeds, the harvest stops coming. The more you sow, the more you reap. If you stop giving you stop receiving. Your receiving is dependent on your giving.

If you stop tithing, the blessedness of tithing stops coming to you. If you stop giving your firstfruit offering, the blessings that follows it stop flowing to you. You can’t say, I have tithed for a long time so I am going to stop or take a break; that all the tithes I have been giving should work for me. No Sir! It does not work like that. You stop receiving the blessing that follow tithes the day you stop giving it.

Don’t stop working the word. Don’t stop confessing the word. The power of the word is released when you speak it forth. If you stop confessing the word, the word stops working for you. Don’t stop believing; don’t stop loving the brethren. Don’t stop attending church services regularly. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop fasting. Don’t stop praising the Lord.

Keep on acting on the word. You ought to be tireless in your working of the word. Just as a man dies the day he stops breathing, so the word stops working for you the day you stop putting it to work.
