2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Reviewing is an important exercise. It helps you to know where you are and what to do to get to your next level. And when it comes to giving, it is important you review your giving from time to time.

Reviewing your giving helps you to refire your commitment to giving, do a good appraisal of your giving life, and make the necessary changes and position yourself for a great life of giving, where your giving will produce tremendous results.

Review whether your giving is producing any result. If your giving is not producing the required results, it is time to go into the word and find out why. Giving works; so, if it is not working for you, you have to find out why. Sometimes you have to check the attitude of your giving. Are you giving in love and faith? Sometimes you have to water your seed. At other times you have to rebuke the enemy to take his hands off your harvest and command the harvest to come in.

So, reviewing your giving is vital to your financial progress. Reviewing draws strength from reflective thinking. As you reflect on your giving, that’s reflective thinking. And it helps you to know whether you are doing well or not; and what to do to position yourself for a mighty and effective giving lifestyle.

Has your giving reduced over the years? Or have you increased your giving with time? Are you tithing consistently or once a while? When was the last time you gave your pastor an offering? Has your giving produced any results? Do you do your giving with the right attitude? Take the time to review your giving life for an upward trend in your finances.
