THE NEW CREATION WAS NOT SAVED FROM SIN
THE NEW CREATION WAS NOT SAVED FROM SIN

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
I believe that this topic alone can cause no small stir among some section of the body of Christ. The new creation was never saved from sin; he was never in sin and has never sinned before. He did not need to be saved from sin. If you don’t know this truth that I am sharing with you, then you haven’t fully understood the gospel.
The new creation was not saved from sin; he was born; he is the offspring of the word. There is a difference between being saved and being born. You have to know the man that was saved and the man that was born. The new creation was not saved nor redeemed; he was born. The old man was the one who was saved in order for him not to go to hell.
To be born again is not the modification of the old man. It is the birth of an entirely new specie. The new creation never sinned. So how could he be saved? Saved from what? He was born by the word of God. The man that needed to be redeemed was the old man that sinned.
Romans 4:25 says, “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” When Jesus died, His death paid for our death; and the old man was saved. When Jesus rose from the dead, He rose with a new life; and we came out with Him in a joint resurrection (Ephesians 2:6) as a new man without a past. It was Christ’s resurrection that brought us the new life. Christianity did not begin at the cross; it began at the resurrection.
The new creation is superior to sin. He is never subject to sin and will never be. He has the nature and the life of God. And that life is superior to sin. That’s why John said, he that is born of God cannot sin, for the seed of God remains in him. This is absolute reality.
The new creation was begotten of God, just like Christ was begotten of the Father at the resurrection (Psalm 2:7) full of life and power. The day you get a hold of this truth, sin loses its power on you.
