Galatians 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
There are preachers who preach heavily on condemnation but still see the miraculous in an awesome way in their ministry. Some grace folks wonder how can that fellow who is law minded be seeing such miracles in his ministry?
The fact that you are shocked by that implies that you have not really been grounded in grace yet. The truth is that God doesn’t work miracles among us because we are doing everything right. This is why even an immature preacher can see great miracles in his ministry more than some mature fellow. Galatians 3:5 says, “He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”
Miracles are not the result of maturity; it is grace at work when faith is released. God does not move among us because we are good; He moves among us because He is good to what Jesus did at the cross for us.
If you take a careful look at the Corinthian church, they were the most gifted church; and yet they were the least matured church; there were divisions and envying among them with adultery on a high. Yet they were so gifted with utterance and preaching of the word and the gifts of the Spirit.
Get conscious of the grace of God. What God looks at is faith in His grace and not how good we are. The blood of Jesus has already qualified us for every blessing of God.
