Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Everyone who is not born again is a dead man walking. Death simply means separation. The unbeliever may be alive physically, but spiritually he is dead, his spirit is cut away and separated from God – this is what it means to be dead spiritually.

So, the next time you see an unbeliever walking, you are looking at a dead man walking. Every man was born into this world dead, separated from the love and embrace of the Father. Everyone was born a child of the devil into this world with the life and nature of satan. This is why you must lead your children to Christ as soon as they are approaching the age of accountability – because the kids you have with you are all dead men.

The moment you receive Christ and accept God’s forgiveness, you are born into the kingdom of God and God becomes your Father – He is the Father of spirits – those whose spirits have been recreated in Christ Jesus. You now have the nature and life of God resident in you.

The wrath of God is upon the unbeliever. The unbeliever is just a step away from hell. Look into your family and take a good look at all the sinners, both in your nuclear and extended family, and start to pray for their salvation – that’s where you begin from.

As you do that, God will give you the opportunity to share the gospel with them by opening their hearts to your message. Or, he will send someone else their way. Yours is to start praying for their salvation. No man can come to Christ by himself; he must be drawn by the Spirit – and that happens when we pray.

God’s way of salvation is Christ. If any man will believe in Him, he will be saved from the wrath to come and will be justified from all things.
