TROUBLE THE WATERS

John 5:4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

There was a pool at Bethesda with five porches according to John 5:2. This pool with five porches is a picture of the church of Jesus Christ; and you know that God has gifted His church with the five fold ministry. The pool is a picture of the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

Our opening scripture lets us know that this water was troubled at certain seasons by an angel of God; and the first person to jump into the water after it is stirred was healed, irrespective of the kind of disease he had.

Today, that pool is the anointing of God in your spirit. The day you receive the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues, the anointing which is power, was released into you.

But for this anointing to work for you, you will have to stir it up. The word “troubled” in our opening scripture is from the Greek word “tarasso” which according to Thayer means to agitate, trouble (a thing, by the movement of its parts to and fro), to cause one inward commotion etc. It also means to disturb a substance.

God is asking you to stir up that anointing inside you. And you do this by speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues is the quickest way to stir up the anointing on your inside. Spend a good amount of time speaking in tongues; and as you speak in tongues and the anointing is stirred, it is time for healing.

At that moment, begin to make your declarations and address those mountains standing before you. According to scripture, as soon as the waters is stirred, no mountain can stand it. Stir up the pool of God inside you to see the miraculous work in your life.
