PRAYER POWER
PRAYER POWER

Luke 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. KJV
Apostle Arome Osayi said, “If you are up to 21 years old and have never prayed for 10 hours before, you are a comic figure, a Batman, you are a joke.” This may sound offensive to some people. But why don’t you humble yourself and take the challenge to pray for 10 straight hours?
The truth is that you can even pray for 18 hours. The day you receive the Holy Spirit, you were given the potential to pray for several hours, as long as you want to go – the potential is inexhaustible. The problem is that many of us have not exploited the potential power of the Spirit on our inside. And using this potential is not up to God but up to you – you are the one to decide how long you want to pray. I believe if many believers know that they can pray for 6 hours they will pray. That’s why I am telling you today.
Learn to give yourself to prayer. There is power in prayer. If the church will pray, we will see the power of God like never before. The early church gave themselves to prayer. When they prayed, mighty things happened. One time they were threatened by the religious authorities not to preach Jesus; they went to their company and prayed.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31 KJV
Look at the result of this prayer: And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all (Acts 4:33). When they prayed, there was great power and great Grace hence great miracles and healings.
I believe like never before, God is calling men and women to the altar of prayer. God wants His power to be demonstrated in these last days as we prepare for the greatest move of God’s Spirit and for the rapture of the church. This is the time to increase in prayer. Great time should be given to prayer in our church gatherings – enough of the talking. We will accomplish more within a short period of time if we will give ourselves wholly to prayer.
